The best way to prevent MELANOMA is to stay out of the sun at noon, to
use sunscreens regularly, to have a monthly skin self-exam, to check
with your dermatologist immediately, if a suspicious skin spot scares
you, and to avoid any unnecessary UV radiation exposure during vacation
or by using UV sunbeds for the purpose of tanning. If you bear plenty of
moles, you are at increased risk, and should be even more careful and
self-protective.
