(1) Check SYMMETRY vs ASYMMETRY: A hypothetical cut in the middle of the
lesion gives unequal parts (see above).
(2) Look for BORDER IRREGULARITY: Recognize sawblade-like indentations
and protrusions at the lesion periphery (see beneath).

(3) Look for COLOR VARIEGATION (see beneath left).
(4) Measure DIAMETER length (see beneath right).
All image examples displayed here, except for the last one, depict
melanoma case findings, easily recognizable by simply applying the ABCD
rule criteria. Check with your dermatologist immediately, if you can
